Maple Pecan Spread



  • Finely chop pecans (if needed). Warm a small nonstick skillet over medium high heat. Add chopped pecans and allow them to toast, stirring frequently until they have a toasty aroma and are starting to turn slightly brown. Remove to a plate and allow to fully cool (stick in the fridge to help cool more quickly).

  • In a small bowl, mix toasted pecans, maple syrup, and 1/2 cup Brummel & Brown Spread until well blended.

  • Spread on toast, bagels, biscuits, English muffins… top warm pancakes or waffles… or, even stir into hot oatmeal for a creamy, wholesome breakfast. The possibilities are endless!
